They mean the least to us.
Little to no impact on our day to day lives, or our overall happiness.
Others won’t notice them, won’t delight in them.
They’re mundane, trivial, ordinary.
Long hot showers, ice cold beer on the couch.
When put together, they bring us the greatest happiness. When we lose them, their memories are burned into our brain. The taste of our favorite burger, the stench of the gym locker room, the feel of a hug from the one you love the most.
They complete us.
They define us.
