Everyone fears it, hates it. We loathe the feeling, do what we can to avoid it at all costs. Alcohol, drugs, death. Anything and everything to make it stop.
It’s our cruelest reaction.
But it can shows us how much we can take, how much we care, how much we’re willing to sacrifice. Without it, the victories of our life aren’t worth celebrating, aren’t victories at all.
It keeps us humble, keeps us pushing, makes us better.
It reminds us we’re still alive. Sometimes, it’s the only thing that does.
